What we are looking for
An experienced Project Manager in the field of Engineering, who will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Leading and managing all aspects of our 3D food printing and upscaled food production projects and making streamlined adjustments when necessary
- Developing project plans, timelines and budgets as well as assigning tasks to team members and monitoring progress to ensure projects are delivered successfully
- Clearly defining project scope and objectives whilst ensuring feasibility and efficient allocation of resources

Food Process Engineer
What we are looking for
Sure, 3D printing in the food industry is cool. However, we do not want to limit ourselves to this, but also develop other production processes. Now we need you, an experienced Process Engineer in the Food Industry, to support us with these projects. Your future tasks:
- Planning large-scale food production facilities which comply with the necessary food production processes and standards
- Designing, developing and improving already existing food processing systems and equipment
- Bringing lab scale processes to industrial scale
- Collaborating with other departments such as R&D and Quality control to design the overall production process
- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise during production
- Providing technical guidance and training to other team members on food processing techniques and processes
- Liaising with third-party supplier of production machinery required for large-scale food production facilities
- Developing and maintaining process flow diagrams, P&ID’s, and other documentation process
Who you are

Food Technologist / Product Development
What we are looking for:
A driven Food Technologist & Product Developer passionate about the topic of plant-based seafood products and keen on researching new ingredients/production ways to expand our product portfolio and grow new knowledge for the company in the field of plant-based innovation. Your possible future tasks:
- Create recipe formulations that can be 3D Food Printing suitable.
- Creat recipes meant for the market with no use of 3D printing as well
- Improve recipes with optimization of taste, visual, nutritional content, texture. The final goal is achieving a product that is a delight at eating
- Food analysis with different methods (mainly texture analysis and rheometer)
- Working on the upscaling of a product, with partners supporting the industrialization step to solve the challenges
- Collaborate with our Tech Engineering team to develop innovative processing strategies
- Proactively and reactively communicate with suppliers, third-party providers to extend in-house ingredients portfolio and characterize the ingredients in our stock or new ingredients we receive
- Contribute in recording and leveraging the knowledge in the team
Who you are:
- You completed master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology or similar

Senior Food Scientist
What we are looking for
As a Senior Food Scientist, you will work closely with our Tech and Product Team, providing insights from the basic research in Food Science. Apart from that, you will be the right hand of the Chief Scientific Officer, providing your support in the decision-making and thus contributing to the growth of Revo Foods. Your tasks will include:
- Translating fundamental knowledge from the research into innovative solutions in plant-based fish production
- Pushing the limits of possibilities in terms of novel methods of food production
- Investigating novel ingredients, products and technology through literature evaluation and experiments
- Testing the products and its characteristics with our 3D printers and other technology together with the Tech Team
- Leading, inspiring and guiding an international team of Food Scientists

Internship in Food Technology (plant-based seafood) – open application
We offer interested interns and students a (master thesis) project on product development or basic research.
Possible topics include:
- Test different ingredient and product formulations for plant-based salmon and tuna
- Test different protein sources (soy, pea, rice, potato, lupin etc.) for their gelation characteristics and texturizing properties
- Use 3D Food Printing to test different formulations
- Optimize sensory properties (color, flavor, smell) of our products
- Optimize texture and mouthfeel (e.g. by using our texture analyzer)

Key responsibilities:
- Perform food-tech related tasks, including the development of different recipes

Internship: Mechanical Engineering
What we are looking for
We are searching for a new Mechanical Engineering Intern starting in August or September 2023. As an intern in Mechanical Engineering, you will be proactively using your knowledge and expertise in developing in-house constructed hardware for our production facility of 3D printers. At the same time, you will have a chance to grow with an international team of highly motivated engineers. Your tasks will include:
- Conducting research and analysis to identify innovative design concepts for 3D printing hardware used in the production of vegan fish
- Creating detailed 3D models and engineering drawings of the hardware components
- Evaluating and selecting appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for the construction of the hardware components
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams within the R&D Department
- Participating in the prototyping and testing phases, iterating designs based on feedback and test results to achieve optimal performance and reliability
- Supporting the transition of the hardware designs from prototype development to mass production, ensuring manufacturability and scalability of the production process
- Conducting risk assessments and implementing appropriate measures to ensure safety and compliance standards are met in the design and operation of the hardware
- Collaborating with external suppliers and manufacturers to source components and oversee the production of the hardware
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and industrial design, and applying relevant knowledge and techniques to enhance the performance and functionality of the hardware designs.
Who you are
