Here at Revo Foods, we strive to protect our oceans in any way possible. That is why we make plant-based seafood with the help of 3D-printing technology. At the same time, it is in our core values to support other entities and organizations that align with our vision. In December 2021, just before the holidays, Revo Foods donated 1.500€ to the Austrian branch of Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, a marine conservation activism non-profit.
“We believe that we need two things for more ocean sustainability: awareness and better alternative products. While startups such as Revo Foods develop tasty alternatives to seafood, we also love the work of NGOs such as Sea Shepherd that help create awareness for the harmful overfishing practices and the devastating state of the marine ecosystems. We are proud to support them with a small donation right before Christmas so that they can continue and accelerate their important work also in 2022.”

Founded in 1977 with the initial name “Earth Force Society”, Shea Shepherd is a global non-profit organization dedicated to protecting marine life by taking actions against illegal activities at sea.
“Sea Shepherd is not a protest organization but takes direct action against poaching activities whenever possible (…).”, it is stated on their website. 100% of their donations go towards supporting their goals, by maintaining and fueling their ships. It is worth mentioning that Sea Shepherd Global was founded in 2013 and it is based in Amsterdam.
