Student Internship in Software Engineering

What we are looking for:

We are searching for a Software Engineering Intern for a duration of 4-6 months. As an intern in Software Engineering, you will be proactively using your knowledge and expertise in developing in-house constructed hardware for our production facility of 3D printers. At the same time, you will have a chance to grow with an international team of highly motivated engineers. Your tasks will include: 

• Collaborate with our engineering team to design, develop, and improve the 3D printing slicer software, ensuring a seamless user experience and high-performance backend functionality. 
• Work on coding and optimizing the embedded software for our 3D food printers, ensuring reliability and precision. 
• Develop solutions to connect multiple printers to a central control unit, enabling efficient fleet management and monitoring. 
• Test, debug, and document software to maintain high-quality standards. 
• Participate in team meetings and provide regular updates on project progress. 

Who you are:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or JavaScript. 
• Experience with frontend frameworks and backend development. 
• Familiarity with 3D printing technologies, CAD software, or slicer tools is a plus. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
